Dick Cooper

Dick was president of The Cooper Cement Company. Coop was a member of Cherry Hills Country Club and spent many hours talking with Richard Nixon. When Dwight Eisenhower came to Denver he would not play golf with Nixon so Nixon spent a lot of time sitting around the clubhouse. That is where he and Coop struck up a friendship.
